Privacy Policy

1. General Information

The protection of your personal data is a high priority for me. This policy explains how I handle your data when you visit my website or use my consulting services.

Data Controller: Arthur Almeida, Rua Dalva Filgueiras de Athayde 35 João Pessoa, Brazil. E-mail: contact@almeidacompliance.com.

2. Data Collection on This Website

I process your data to provide a functional website and to communicate with you regarding consulting services.

  • Hosting & CDN (Squarespace): My website is hosted by Squarespace. When you visit, technical data (IP address, browser type) is processed to display the site securely. Squarespace acts as a processor.

  • Fonts (Google Fonts): To ensure a consistent look, this site uses Google Fonts. These are loaded from Google’s servers, which may involve transferring your IP address to Google.

  • Spam Protection (Google reCAPTCHA): I use reCAPTCHA to check whether data entry (e.g., on a contact form) is done by a human or an automated program.

  • Translations (Weglot): This tool provides the automatic translation of my website. It may process your IP address to deliver the correct language version.

Legal Basis: The use of these tools is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in a secure, functional, and multilingual website).

3. Communication & Appointment Booking

If you contact me or book a session, the following tools are involved:

  • Calendly: Used for scheduling appointments. When you book, your name, email, and any notes you provide are processed by Calendly to facilitate the meeting.

  • Google Workspace (Email): I use Google for my professional email communication. Any data you send via email or contact form is stored on Google’s servers.

Legal Basis: Data processing for the purpose of contacting me or booking a consultation is based on Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (performance of a contract or pre-contractual measures).

4. International Data Transfers

Since I am located in Brazil and use service providers based in the USA (Google, Squarespace, Calendly), your data is transferred outside the European Economic Area (EEA).

  • To Brazil: Brazil is recognized as providing an adequate level of data protection by the EU Commission.

  • To the USA: I ensure that "Standard Contractual Clauses" (SCCs) are in place with these providers to maintain a high level of data protection.

5. Cookies and Local Storage

This website uses cookies and similar technologies (e.g., local storage). I have configured this site to use only technically necessary cookies and third-party connections required for the website’s operation.

  • Scope: These include essential cookies from Squarespace (hosting), Weglot (language translation), Google Fonts, and Google reCAPTCHA (security/spam protection).

  • Legal Basis (Storage): The storage of information in your terminal equipment (or access to information already stored) is based on Section 25 para. 2 no. 2 TDDDG. These cookies are strictly necessary to provide the telemedia service explicitly requested by the user (e.g., displaying the site in the correct language or ensuring security).

  • Legal Basis (Processing): Any subsequent processing of personal data is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, reflecting my legitimate interest in providing a secure, functional, and user-friendly website.

6. Your Rights
